On 6 July 2020, OSIF was granted FINMA approval as a supervisory organisation for portfolio managers and trustees. You can therefore now begin the process of becoming affiliated to OSIF and then obtain your FINMA authorization.

Here is the procedure to follow:

Complete, sign and return OSIF supervision contract in duplicate.

Complete the FINMA application form for authorization for managers and trustees on the FINMA EHP platform , including all the required annexes.

Give OSIF access to your complete file on FINMA's EHP platform

OSIF examines your file and makes sure that it is complete and that it meets the conditions for authorization (compliance with the FinIA, the AML and if applicable, the FinSA).

If the file is complete and the conditions for authorization have been met, OSIF will confirm your affiliation to OSIF.

Then give FINMA access to your file on FINMA's EHP platform

FINMA then examines your file and ensures that it meets the conditions for authorization.
